The adrenaline for the soul is vision- vision to look into your own self, into someone,in future or in the past. Her vision foretells a story, her words the emotion. Her ability to observe captures the duality of life and being. She is jovial, emotional, sensitive and understanding. She sees the black and whites just the way they are. Being extreme is in her nature. The writer in her, carves and moulds, her outlook towards life. Her belief lies in her observation of the world around, the world filled with shades, yet her perception beholds the faculty of perpetual positivity.

7 things which happen when food becomes your “bae”

Harsh Chaturvedi

Published

food-is-bae

‘Food is something which seems to be the byproduct of nature’s precious gifts as well as your imaginative grey matter.’

Now before the reader goes all covert to know who said the aforementioned line, let’s just stick to the regular fact. Food is love! Obviously for many of us it’s not just about being exposed to the arsenal of aromas. But at the same time it’s all about filling that hungry belly with some delicious flavor bombs.

Foodies love to think about food more than anything else! That’s what they’re supposed to do right?

Well, see for yourselves:-

Kitchen becomes “The Kitchen”

When a human mind falls in love with the art of making delicious food then the first thing which comes into his/her mind is “the kitchen should necessarily be treated as a temple”. The results are glistening utensils, sharp knives, groceries aligned as if they’re the pit crew of your stomach’s NASCAR race. You’ll be surprised by the results yourselves.

Quality over Quantity

There’s a fine line between “good food” and “blissful food”. The only difference is that good food comprises of makeshift moves which help you out in the long run, whereas blissful food comprises of finely tuned components which in turn relieve your mind of the worries you’re having. Boss issues!?

You know it at the tip of your tongue

Being a foodie has many perks but the best one among all is remembering your grandma’s secret ingredient, or the correct proportions, heck even the name of a rare herb! You seem to play it all on the kitchen counter with ease and that’s what makes you awesome.

Exploring more and more

Perhaps the basic instinct is your hunger for more and more ways to improvise your so-called “catastrophic” dish which was actually pretty good. Once your obsession with food takes over your mind, the food detective inside you comes to life. And that is a thing which most of us normal humans don’t possess.

Inventions on new food!

No matter what the circumstances might be, a good foodie always searches for that particular trick which would turn his/her regular main course into something way better than what the expensive restaurants fail to offer. And hence, the term “my own creation’ comes into play.

Researching food stuff

The stuff here isn’t just some random keyword scribbled across the search engine. It is a wide spectrum which encompasses all the elements of all the great chefs around the globe. Most foodies are prone to commit acts of intense research upon the famous dishes by, you guessed it, famous chefs. Be it Gordon Ramsey or Vikas Khanna, a foodie will never leave a page unread from those savvy cook books.

Shutterbound

Finally the most techie thing about being a foodie is his/her obsession with taking snaps of any dish those hungry eyes come across. One moment you’re ordering a cheese pizza and “click”, it just got posted on Instagram. It’s a natural instinct which rules the frontal cortex of all foodies across the globe. Particularly for those hailing from the current timeline. Now you can enjoy the bite!

It doesn’t matter where you’ve just started, what matters is your journey from just an all-time regular cook to a real maestro who rules the taste buds. Because once a foodie is always a foodie. Cheers to that grey matter of yours!

mango2-wordhazard
Are you aware of the origin of Mango? Well, it is considered as a native crop to Indian Subcontinent, cultivated for over 4,000 years! Hence, an essential part of this fest is to pay homage to Indian farmers for running the cultivation of this traditional crop. The next aim is providing easy access to various breeds of mango and associated products at user-friendly prices. This is a major catch in the event where people taste selectively handpicked fresh farm-fruits. Another purpose to organize this event is to promote & patronize mango-growers to advance technologically to increase their production and product quality. Extracting maximum returns from the product, making provisions for sales of secondary sellers, tapping domestic and international markets and ultimately contributing to the national economy all circle the target of Mango Fest.

Pioneers of UP Mango Fest –

jyotsana-wordhazard-newThe first UP Mango Festival was held in 2013 as a motivational event to promote the regional breeds and their cultivators, to extend support to farmers and women in agriculture. It has been adopted as an annual fest ever since.

The ‘Orchard Visit’ had been held in Madhav Udyaan, Malihabaad until last year. In 2018, it will be organized in the Abbasi mango orchard which belongs to Shahid Abbasi to cover more orchards in the state.
