GRAFFITI IS THE NEW SEXY ! LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL OUR LUCKNOW HAS BEEN PAINTED!
“People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible and childish…but that’s only if it’s done properly.”~Banksy (Wall and Piece)
It seems like there is no limit to human imagination and creativity. With an initiative to fill life with colors, Colorothon Entertainment LLP started celebrating creativity through their color-carnival Colorothon.
Graffiti is almost craziest form of art. A graffiti artist believes in painting his own sign rather than waiting for signs to show. Spraying colors on bare walls remain a mystery, yet not to those who seek the truth behind it.
Colorothon is a reminder of those thoughts and expression, memories and regression. Events and live performances at the fiesta display a perfect union of Music, Art and Theatre.
Sincere efforts probably never go in vain. Colorothon did owe it’s existence to Bangalore, but it’s impression in the minds of people is undying. Consequently Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and recently Lucknow have celebrated harmony in hues beyond any borders either.
In Colorothon Season 9 launched in January in Lucknow, artists from Delhi painted the Shaheed Path flyover near Indra Gandhi Pratishthan. Most noteworthy, their graffiti shows Awadhi culture and daily life of a Mangoman. Furthermore, they have painted beautiful portraits of imminent personalities.
Therefore, here are the excerpts from their brilliant work.
In conclusion, Graffiti is the art that symbolize revolution of our existence. The nature of art is highly dynamic and art forms change constantly. Different minds paint different ideas, and they know no rules or superstition.
Use your power. Paint life. Be relevant. Make it good!
